Gran Sasso Club Thunder Bay is a non-profit organization established in 1980 under the direction of Bruno Di Gregorio to raise funds for local charities as well as other worthy causes and to promote Italian culture.

 

Gran Sasso is a landmark, a majestic mountain, in central Italy in the province of Abruzzo between the cities of Teramo and L’Aquila 120 km east of Rome; the majority of founding members have their roots from the Gran Sasso region.
